چکیده

The current study aimed to evaluate the antibiotic treatment of UTIs and antimicrobial resistance uropathogens in children with UTIs. A retrospective was conducted Pediatrics Department different centers from November 2021-November 2022. total 100 febrile or afebrile urinary tract infections were included study. categorized as afebrile. Antibiotics prescribed according UTI pathogen identified. E.coli most common (80%) found patients both groups, while Citrobacter sp gram-positive cocci only one case each. Amikacin mostly groups (54 for fUTIs 8 aUTIs). 60% isolates resistant ampicillin, 10% AMC (amoxicillin clavulanic acid), 15% SAM (Sulfacetamide sodium). highest rates observed against SXT, i.e., 25%. Based on results, it can be concluded that there is a need stewardship programs control increasing prevalence among UTI-causing pathogens.
